Ruben Alamo is a multidisciplinary designer with more than a dozen years of experience in architecture, film, 3D visualization, and graphic design. A natural storyteller, Ruben creates engaging spaces that enrich users’ lives through a balance of artistic interventions, cutting-edge technology, and interactive assets.
As an integral part of the Sensory Interactive Design and Strategy team, Ruben strives to successfully connect our clients’ message to the public in innovative ways, using his particular expertise in the areas of concept development, programming, and project documentation.
Before joining Sensory Interactive, Ruben was most recently a Senior Project Designer at OKW Architects in Chicago. In this role, he led the conceptualization, design development, and 3D visualization of mixed-use, retail, and hospitality projects for Fortune 500 companies in New York City, Miami, Boston, Charlotte, Nashville, and Chongqing, China.
Ruben’s unique career trajectory covering the worlds of design and film has also led him to work for NBC-Universal and architecture firms that include Oualalou+Choi in Paris and Boston’s Elkus-Mandfredi Architects.
Ruben holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
