Senior Marketing Strategist
Renee Butterfield recently joined Sensory Interactive to lead our marketing and PR strategy. With nearly two decades of experience working on both the agency and client side of the table, Renee has partnered with small startups, NGOs, globally ranked advertising and PR agencies, management firms and technology companies. She has led brand strategy, marketing research and integrated marketing and PR for some of world most respected brands and organizations (Ben and Jerry’s, NFL, National Dairy Council, Coty International and the World Bank, to name a few).
As the Senior Marketing and PR Strategist at Sensory Interactive, Renee leads the team responsible for nurturing the company’s brand, while also playing a key role in client projects that involve marketing and branding elements. She oversees strategy-setting, budgeting, and tactical implementation for all of Sensory Interactive’s marketing and brand development efforts, including the company’s online presence, marketing communications program, and public relations activities.
Before joining Sensory Interactive, Renee led the Content Marketing team at online event-management platform Cvent, where she oversaw a marquee product launch and marketing campaign that helped the company to connect with customers through meaningful experiences and communications. Prior to Cvent, Renee served as the Director of Marketing for Booz Allen Hamilton’s Strategic Initiative Group. In this role, she led the development and implementation of the group’s marketing strategy and managed cross-functional teams from the firm’s digital, media relations, and internal communications practices.
Renee holds a Master of Arts degree in Global Marketing Communications and Advertising, with a focus on Brand Strategy from Emerson College in Boston and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana.
