Architect and designer Mark Petterson has nearly two decades of experience creating environments that achieve the business and branding objectives of their owners and enhance the lives of everyday users.
Mark leads Sensory Interactive’s Design and Strategy team in the planning, design, and documentation of digital media projects ranging from video walls and large-format display installations to comprehensive promotional platforms. He works with a multidisciplinary group of designers, architects, strategists, technology specialists, and project managers to help world-class institutions and organizations tackle the diverse challenges associated with integrating digital media into the built environment.
Before joining Sensory Interactive, Mark was most recently a Project Architect, Studio Operations Director, and Project Manager for the Austin office of global architecture firm Gensler. While at Gensler, he worked on some of the region’s most prominent mixed-use, entertainment, and hospitality projects. His career has also included work on retail, healthcare, transportation, and higher education projects across the country.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston College of Architecture. He holds NCARB certification, is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
