Senior Systems Administrator
Ethan Bennett is an information technology professional with experience in the implementation and operation of complex systems that enhance decision making and knowledge sharing in fast-paced environments.
As a Senior Systems Administrator at Sensory Interactive, Ethan manages the databases and business systems that Sensory Interactive uses to support project delivery and business analytics. His work on these systems includes operations, support, and maintenance, as well as planning and executing ongoing enhancements that help the Sensory Interactive team use the company’s datasets to make real-time decisions based on a variety of metrics.
Ethan began his career at Polaris, where he oversaw the technology operations of the 24x7x365 National Human Trafficking Hotline. Working in conjunction with telecommunications vendors, industry experts, staff stakeholders, and community advisory groups, Ethan diligently constructed and operated a telecommunications ecosystem and internal IT infrastructure that provided a superior quality of service at an extremely affordable cost.
Before joining Sensory Interactive, Ethan was most recently the Manager of Technology Operations for the National Center for Victims of Crime. In this role, he used data analytics to improve the reliability and quality of the organization’s services and developed technology-based workflows for critical projects. Additionally, he oversaw the operation and expansion of several national and regional crisis hotlines, textlines, and webchat services.
For his efforts, Ethan has been named “Hero of Crisis Hotline Technology” by Twilio, Inc., was inducted into the FBI’s public/private InfraGard partnership, was highlighted by the National Emergency Number Association for contributions to public safety telecommunications standards, and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and conventions throughout
Ethan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies from American University in Washington, DC.
