Berny Hintz is a licensed architect with extensive experience in the design and project management of a wide range of private and DOD commercial, retail, and residential projects throughout the United States and the Pacific rim. As a Senior Associate on Sensory Interactive’s Project Management team, Berny uses his ability to collaborate with a diverse range of team members to achieve a client’s design, business, and financial objectives, particularly on large, complex projects.
Before joining Sensory Interactive, Berny led his own practice for more than 25 years, providing design and technical expertise in architecture, building evaluations, the development of custom modular building systems, and subject matter expertise consulting. His firm emphasized environmentally sound design principles wherever possible, including the use of hybrid building systems that combined custom-designed modular components and field-built or prefabricated construction.
Berny earned Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Tulane University and is licensed to practice in several states throughout the country. He is credentialed as a LEED Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council and as Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP) by the Council of American Energy Engineers. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects.
