Alex da Rosa is an innovative design director with nearly two decades of experience in architecture, interior design, construction, and project management. His portfolio includes hospitality, residential, institutional, retail, customer experience, and branded environment projects for a variety of luxury brands.
As an Associate Director of Sensory Interactive’s Design and Strategy team, Alex leads talented groups of architects, designers, and technologists as they create and implement strategies for creating unique and memorable user experiences in the built environment. Alex’s background in the field of retail store design and 360-degree customer experiences allows him to bring a uniquely brand-focused view to Sensory Interactive projects.
Before joining Sensory Interactive, Alex was most recently the Director of Design, LATAM Retail Design and Development (USA), for Estée Lauder. In this role, he led the interior design and visual merchandising activities for retail stores in the Latin American region, covering Estée Lauder brands that included Tom Ford, La Mer, and Bobbi Brown.
Alex previously worked as the Head of Architecture for Pininfarina, a global design firm with clients that include Ferrari, Lamborghini, and AECOM. While at Pininfarina, he launched the company’s first U.S. office and built and led a 17-member team that delivered sales-focused, brand-extending projects for global organizations.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Woodbury University and studied digital fabrication and visualization at The Cooper Union School of Architecture.
