Sensory Interactive is working with property owners and architects in Florida to create and launch promotional platforms for several high-profile mixed-use or entertainment-oriented real estate developments.
Three of these projects – Margaritaville, Water Street Tampa, and Pointe Orlando – have hit new milestones in recent weeks.
Sensory Interactive has completed the planning, design, and documentation of a promotional platform for Orlando’s Margaritaville Resort. The 300-acre Margaritaville project includes a hotel, vacation cottages, a water park, and retail and restaurant space. The promotional platform will enhance the visitor experience at the resort and create opportunities to generate revenue through advertising, sponsorships, and live events.
The platform includes large- and small-format digital displays in high-traffic areas, lighting and audio systems that will facilitate live events in outdoor spaces, and a content management system that centralizes the storage, scheduling, and presentation of digital content. The platform will also promote guest engagement through its integration with digital signage, mobile apps, and web-based tools.
Sensory Interactive is now moving forward with the implementation of the platform, including negotiating a licensing and sales agreement with a media sales organization that will be responsible for deploying and monetizing the platform’s digital components.
Water Street Tampa
Water Street Tampa (pictured above) is an urban, mixed-use waterfront development covering more than 50 acres. The multibillion-dollar project surrounds the Tampa Bay Lightning’s Amalie Arena, and will eventually include more than nine million square feet of space. Water Street Tampa will be a truly mixed-use environment, with space dedicated to office, residential, hotel, educational, entertainment, cultural, and retail uses.
Sensory Interactive is working with developer Strategic Property Partners to create an actionable plan for the launch of a comprehensive promotional platform at Water Street Tampa. Sensory Interactive’s initial involvement includes performing a valuation assessment, defining the platform’s components, creating conceptual designs for key elements of the system, and detailing a long-term monetization strategy for the platform.
Pointe Orlando is the latest of Sensory Interactive’s Florida projects. Located adjacent to the nation’s second-largest convention center, the project is a popular, high-traffic environment for dining, shopping, and entertainment.
The Sensory Interactive team is working with property owner Brixmor Property Group and Beame Architectural Partnership on the conceptual design and programming of a promotional platform to be launched in conjunction with a planned renovation and repositioning of Pointe Orlando. Potential elements of the platform include a variety of large-format, small-format, and kiosk displays on the exterior and interior of the project, along with spaces for live events and product activations.
The proposed promotional platform will also include plans for centralizing control of digital elements across the project, allowing the owner to offer project-wide “moments of exclusivity” to future advertisers or sponsors.
