Robert S. Heicklen has an extensive background in commercial real estate leasing, investment, and development, with a focus on retail in primary markets nationwide. His experience includes project repositioning, large-format rollouts, experiential retail models, and property acquisition and disposition, giving him expertise in the diverse financial, operational, and positioning factors that determine the success of a real estate project.
At Sensory Interactive, Robert uses this expertise to help clients find ways to use digital media installations to enhance leasing efforts, generate revenue, engage with visitors, build brand awareness, and increase long-term asset value.
Before joining Sensory Interactive, Robert most recently spent a combined total of six years with Thor Retail Advisors and Winick Realty Group, where he represented some of New York’s most prominent property owners, along with brands that included Dyson, Chipotle, AT&T, Pinkyotto, The New Stand, Duane Reade, and Walgreens.
In 2016, Robert represented Dyson in a transaction that The Real Deal magazine recognized as New York’s eighth largest retail lease of the year, and in 2015 he was featured in New York Real Estate Journal’s “Young & Established Spotlight” section.
A New York native, Robert is a graduate of Queen’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He is an active supporter of St. Mary’s Hospital for Children and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and participated as a player in the 2016 Boomer & Carton / Mikey Strong 23 Hockey Game, benefiting the Nichols Family Trust and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
