As part of its ongoing relationship with global CRM leader Salesforce, Sensory Interactive has developed building-top signage for three of the company’s high-rise office locations in cities across the United States.
The building-top signs are located at Salesforce facilities in Indianapolis, New York, and Bellevue, Washington. Each presents a consistent brand image for the company while also responding to the unique opportunities and requirements of each location.
At Salesforce Tower NYC, Sensory Interactive created a building-top presence appropriate for the building’s large scale and its location on the edge of Times Square. Working closely with Salesforce’s marketing and design teams, the Sensory Interactive staff developed a set of vibrant, color-changing letterforms that extended Salesforce’s brand standards into this unique visual environment.
In Indianapolis, the Sensory Interactive team developed signage that responds to a light-colored building background with blue letterforms that are illuminated white after dark. By maximizing the visibility of the sign during all hours of the day and night, Sensory Interactive helped Salesforce take advantage of the building’s location within the sightline of fans and cameras in Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts.
In Bellevue, darker building materials warranted white letterforms for both day and night. In response to the building’s architectural design and typical viewing angles, Sensory Interactive also recommended including the Salesforce “cloud” logo on a second side of the building. This extension of the installation around the building’s corner adds interest and increases visibility.
At each project, Sensory Interactive provided planning, design, documentation, and bidding services, and then managed the fabrication, installation, and commissioning process. For the Bellevue project, Sensory Interactive’s content creation team also produced a video showcasing the interior and exterior of the new Salesforce space. The video highlights the office’s employee amenities and interior architecture, and Salesforce staff is using it as a tool to help attract talent to the growing office.
The building-top signage initiative is just one facet of Sensory Interactive’s broad scope of work for Salesforce, which includes the development of digital media installations and brand-focused content for Salesforce facilities around the world.
