Sensory Interactive’s creative content team is working with JBG Smith Properties to generate special event, seasonal, and holiday content for the large-format LED display at the developer’s CEB Tower project in Arlington, Virginia.
This new content will augment the ongoing program developed for the displays by creative experience company Digital Kitchen.
“By creating content that reflects the seasons and acknowledges holidays and special events, we can add an element of surprise and some unexpected delight to the display,” says Sensory Interactive Associate Director Christopher Graefe.
“The reaction to the pieces we launched this spring has been extremely positive,” continues Graefe. “It’s common to see people in the lobby taking photos of themselves in front of the display. The dramatic size and vibrant resolution of the display already transform the space, and when you add the element of timeliness to the equation, it further increases people’s excitement about the experience.”
Content recently developed by the Sensory Interactive team includes a cherry blossoms pictorial, a piece honoring Memorial Day, and a campaign promoting the success of the Washington Capitals.
These ongoing content development activities are a continuation of Sensory Interactive’s previous work on the project. During the design and launch of the 19-foot by 38-foot display, Sensory Interactive worked with JBG Smith to document a design approach for the display, develop specifications for display hardware and software, negotiate a fabrication and installation agreement with the display vendor, and provide project management services during the installation and launch process.
