Queens Center Rotating Display

Sensory Interactive has completed another component of Macerich’s nationwide digital signage network. Located at Macerich’s Queens Center project in New York City, this double-faced rotating LED sign further expands the network’s ability to present large-scale, high-resolution content for retailers, brands, movie studios, and local advertisers.

Sensory Interactive began the project by working with Macerich to identify the ideal location within Queens Center for the installation. The Sensory Interactive team reviewed several potential locations for factors related to budget, visibility, and structural feasibility before making a final recommendation. Sensory Interactive then provided design, documentation, procurement, and project management services.

The 6mm LED display was fabricated and installed by Daktronics. It includes an embedded sound system and a motor that rotates the display, making it visible from all approaches without obstructing views of storefronts.
