Sensory Interactive is pleased to announce that Mark Petterson has joined the firm as Associate Director of the Design and Strategy team.
Mark will be based in Sensory Interactive’s Austin office, where he will direct a multidisciplinary team working on the planning, design, and documentation of digital media projects ranging from video walls and large-format display installations to comprehensive promotional platforms.
Before joining Sensory Interactive, Mark was most recently a Project Architect and Studio Operations Director for the Austin office of global architecture firm Gensler. While at Gensler, he worked on some of the region’s most prominent mixed-use, entertainment, and hospitality projects. His career has also included work on retail, healthcare, transportation, and education projects across the country.
“Mark is an outstanding addition to the Sensory Interactive team,” said Design and Strategy group Director Greg Giordano. “His experience with large projects and his background in studio management are a perfect fit for the increasingly robust demands of our current engagements. As these engagements continue to grow in scale and complexity, Mark’s ability to marshal our diverse design and programming resources will help ensure that we deliver the right solution for every project.”
Mark earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston College of Architecture. He holds NCARB certification, is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
