1460 Broadway’s new large-format LED displays – developed by Sensory Interactive for owner Meringoff Properties – are now fully operational and making their mark on New York’s Times Square. Meringoff recently completed a major renovation of the property, and the new digital displays are enhancing the building’s presence in Times Square’s valuable retail and advertising environment.
After completing a sightline analysis to determine the optimal size, quantity, placement, and orientation of the displays, Sensory Interactive led a coordination effort with the owner’s architecture, engineering, and construction team to effectively integrate the technology into the building architecture. This effort yielded a network of displays that mesh elegantly with the architecture of the building, minimize blocked views for building tenants, meet the strict code requirements of the district, and maximize return on the client’s capital investment.
Before construction started, Sensory Interactive used its media sales expertise to assist Meringoff in securing the property’s flagship retail tenant, Foot Locker, as a long-term sponsor for the displays.
Throughout the design and installation process, Sensory Interactive also worked with Meringoff on revenue analysis, cost estimations, design services and coordination, development of marketing materials, media sales consultation, and project management oversight.
Sensory Interactive’s comprehensive and fully coordinated consulting approach delivered a digital media platform that enhances the value of 1460 Broadway, and also minimized the owner’s financial risk throughout the process.
